Lindsay Abbott

Lindsay is an e-learning experienced, international professional British voice over artist, based in the United Kingdom with her own digital recording studio. She is particularly experienced in the area of voicing e-learning and educational media projects, with clients including Cambridge University Press and the Pearson Publishing Group. Lindsay is also often called upon by education sector clients for her skills in voicing teenagers, without sounding 'twee', adding meaningful interpretations of text/dialogue that often teenagers don't have the experience to do. Invariably, e-learning type projects require a special kind of clarity, and sometimes a slower pace whilst retaining meaning, which is again something that Lindsay is adept at being able to do well.

Voice description: standard British RP, warm, approachable and feminine, with the specialist ability to transform easily from toddler to pensioner and a host of other characters and accents, and these skills are often regularly used on educational projects!

In addition to this, Lindsay also provides voice overs for film, television, internet, corporate video and radio projects. I also provide character voices for animation projects, narration for audio books plus ‘on-hold’ messaging for telephone systems.
